How to Download and Use the Tugo TV App: A Step-by-Step Guide 

Tugo TV is a free streaming app for faith, live news, and family-friendly TV. With faith-based (Christianity, Catholicism and their denominations) and secular family-friendly entertainment, there’s something for everyone. From inspiring content, faith education, to music specials, sports and cooking shows, Tugo TV ensures that families have access to content that uplifts, inspires, and aligns with their values.  

Early access available now, with much more to be released in 2025. Download Tugo TV today [hyperlink]. Getting started with Tugo TV is simple and user-friendly. Follow these steps to download the app and explore its features: 

Step 1: Download the App 

Open your device’s app store (e.g. Google Play Store for Android, Apple App Store for iOS, Channel Store for Roku, Amazon AppStore for Amazon). 

Search for “Tugo TV.” 

Click “Download” or “Get” to install the app on your device. 

Step 2: Create an Account 

Open the app. 

If you have an existing account, log in using your email and password. 

Otherwise, select “Sign Up” to create a new account. 

Enter your email address and create a password. 

Step 3: Explore the Interface 

Once logged in, you’ll find an intuitive interface with categories like Family, Faith, Sports and Adventure, News and Knowledge, and more. The layout is designed to make navigation effortless, with curated playlists and a search bar to help you quickly find content that suits your preferences. 

Step 4: Customize Your Experience 

Add favorite shows to your personalized watchlist for easy access. 

Although Tugo TV strives to ensure that all of its content is family-friendly, you can enable parental controls. See instructions for setting up parental controls

Although most content is free, Tugo TV’s subscription option unlocks specialty content and additional app features, including playback settings. Set it up to record live channels/shows that you’ll miss and watch later. Click here for catch-up viewing and DVR instructions. (is there an expiry to how long recordings will be stored?).  

I have an FAQ prepped for catch-up viewing and DVR, but the DVR section is still empty as I don’t yet have those details. Since it’s not yet enabled, I can’t see the flow to outline steps to access. Looking to Aaron on insight about download expiry -Jess
